Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen sliced peaches no sugar added, about 1 lb
  • 1 12 fl oz can lemonade concentrate, thawed (or 1 cup prepared lemonade)
  • 1/2 cup cold water divided
  • 1/4 cup simple syrup 1:1 sugar to water plus extra if needed
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest optional, for brightness
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine salt
Garnish (optional)
  • Lemon wheels peach slices, or fresh mint leaves for serving (optional)

Equipment

  • 1 High-speed blender (48–64 oz capacity) or standard blender (work in batches)
  • 1 Rimmed baking sheet or 9×13-inch baking dish

Method

Make the peach-lemon base
  1. In a large bowl, combine the frozen peaches, thawed lemonade concentrate, 3 tablespoons of the cold water, simple syrup, lemon zest (if using), and salt. Stir to coat the peaches evenly.
Short pre-freeze
  1. Spread the mixture in a shallow layer on a rimmed baking sheet or in a 9×13-inch dish and freeze uncovered for 60–90 minutes, until edges are firm but the center is still slightly slushy.
Blend to slush
  1. Scrape the partially frozen mixture into a blender (work in two batches for smaller blenders). Add 1–2 tablespoons cold water if needed. Pulse on high in 10–15 second bursts, using a tamper or pausing to stir, until the mixture is a slightly chunky, scoopable slush (about 30–45 seconds per batch on high-speed blenders).
Finish and serve
  1. Taste and adjust sweetness with up to 2 tablespoons extra simple syrup if desired. Serve immediately in chilled glasses with optional garnishes. If too thick, stir in 1 tablespoon cold water at a time; if too thin, freeze 15–20 minutes and re-blend briefly.

Notes

For best texture, do not skip the 60–90 minute pre-freeze. If using fresh peaches, freeze them solid first on a sheet pan. Store blended slush in an airtight container in the freezer up to 2 weeks and restore texture by thawing briefly and re-blending.
